Discord is a free video, voice and text chat service.
WIRED has it's own Discord server which is planned to have channels for:
- job listings
- interactions with our sponsors
- programming help
- event planning
- FIT subject discussion
- off-topic free talk
Rules
Note that these rules are subject to change as deemed appropriate by WIRED.
- Be a WIRED member! You must be a WIRED member to be in the Discord channel. Verification using your student email may be required.
- No collusion! While academic discussion is encouraged, cheating on assignments is not allowed.
- Be nice! Bad faith participation, insults, and bigotry will result in a removal from the Discord
Verification
We require people to verify their Discord against our membership to particpate in Discord fully. Type !verify in the #welcome channel to verify your account. We won't share your Discord handle unless required to by law enforcement, MSA, or Monash University.
