Trivia Night & OGM

  • G101 Learning Village 33 Innovation Walk Clayton Clayton, VIC, 3800 Australia (map)

As per our clubs constitution, we must hold an Ordinary General Meeting in semester 1 of every year. We will be receiving reports from the club President & Treasurer as well as filling vacancies in the Committee. The final agenda will be distributed at least 48 hours prior to the commencement of the OGM.

The position to be elected is One General Representative (Events Director). The office of Events Director was vacated in October 2022. Since then, it was the decision of the committee to have the position co-opted rather than trigger an Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM).

To nominate for a position on the Committee you must be a Clayton Student and WIRED club member for at least 14 days prior to the OGM.

All candidates may deliver a speech of up to two minutes at the meeting and answer up to two questions from the floor. The returning officer for this election is Dilhan Simsek and can be contacted at president@wired.org.au.

If you cannot attend this meeting you may proxy your vote to someone. All proxies must be received 72 hours prior to the OGM. To find out more about proxies or to submit a proxy please contact the returning officer.

The OGM will be followed by Free Pizza & Popcorn while we pick your brains with the trivia night. You can REGISTER HERE! The Melbourne Hub UNIHACK Prizes will also be announced along with the raffle from Orientation Week!

The Trivia Night is a fun and exciting way to meet your fellow peers and test your knowledge . The trivia questions will cover a variety of topics ranging from tech to general knowledge and prizes will be awarded to the winning team.

Come along and have a great time with us!
